The Barn Nursery began over half a century ago when Tom & Len Kusmerz opened “Len’s Landscaping”. Both shared a passion for plants, design and a commitment to quality and service. This remains true today.
In 1980, the name was changed and our retail garden center was opened. The Barn Nursery is still located on the original site at the corner of Rakow Road and Rt. 31. Many of our customers still remember the big red barn that gave us our name.
The Barn Nursery is one of the area’s premier landscape design and construction firms.
Our service area includes all of Chicagoland and S. Wisconsin including:
* Barrington * Inverness * Lake Zurich * Hawthorn Woods
